The artwork was digitally illustrated by Dale Stephanos using a 2010 photograph by Kwaku Alston as its reference, while USPS art director Greg Breeding designed the final stamp.

Like all Forever stamps, the Betty White stamp is valid for mailing a one-ounce First-Class Mail letter anywhere in the United States, regardless of future postage rate increases.
